We are thrilled to announce that MS Moments will be the new hosts of the Grimes Governors Days 5K!  Mark your calendars for a morning full of fun, fitness, and community spirit on June 10th.  Whether you’re a seasoned runner or seeking a lively weekend activity, we cordially invite you to come and make memories with us.

Packet pick-up will be from 4:00 PM-7:00 PM on Thursday, June 8th and 4:00 PM-7:00 PM Friday, June 9th at Farrell’s eXtreme Bodyshaping, 1451 SE 3rd Street, Ste. 500, in Grimes. On race day, packet pick-up and registration will start at 6:30 AM in the Adesa parking lot (1800 SE Gateway Drive) on June 10th. The 5K will start at 7:30 AM with the Fun Run beginning at approximately 8:15 AM.

T-shirts will be given and refreshments will be available to all registrants. Prizes will be awarded to all winners in their respective age brackets with door prizes for finishers. Kids age 12 and under can participate in the 1 Mile Fun Run. All kids that register and participate will be given a T-shirt, refreshments, and a door prize. Places and times will not be recorded for the Fun Run.

Both races will start in the Adesa parking lot and be run through the residential areas in Grimes. All prizes will be distributed following the conclusion of the Fun Run. You must be present to win.

All proceeds from the run will support MS Moments, a local non-profit organization.  MS Moments is dedicated to providing support for Iowans affected by Multiple Sclerosis (MS) and their families.
