Fitness Sports in Clive was established by Steve and Nancy Bobenhouse in 1984. With a focus on community, Fitness Sports grew to one of the biggest running stores and walking store in the Midwest and has been a tradition for families all over Iowa.
In 2016, Jordan & Lindsey Andrews opened up Heartland Soles in Johnston, and shortly after opened a second location in Coralville. Also with a passion for community and customer service, the Bobenhouses and Andrews’ became friends. In 2021, the Andrews purchased the Fitness Sports – Clive location and have rebranded Heartland Soles to match.
