Join us for the 2026 Scandinavian Days 5K Walk and Run, where are proceeds go to charity. Your participation supports The RedShirt Foundation, a local non-profit organization that provides mental wellness and suicide prevention resources to students in Story County.

Entry Fees

Non-refundable, $25 for adult and $15 for child if postmarked by May 15thAfter May 15th Adult Registration will be $35 and Child Registration will remain $15. Shirts will be given out on a first come first served basis for registration received after May 15th.

Child rates will only apply to children ages 10 or under on race day.

Packet Pickup

Friday, June 5th at Bertha Barlett Public Library (503 Broad St. Story City, IA, 50248 3:30-6:30pm or Saturday, June 6th beginning at 7:00am at the golf course.

Inclement Weather

If raining without lightning, the event will still be held at planned start time. In case of lightning, the race will be postponed until it is safe to run on Saturday. If we are unable to race on Saturday, the race will be held at the same time on Sunday morning. As a reminder, race fees are non-refundable.
