This is the fifth annual “Run For Her Life” virtual/in-person 5K and Half-Marathon!

The Phoenix Phase Initiative is an Iowa-based non-profit dedicated to helping women who have been sexually trafficked around the world. These women are rarely given a chance to escape and, when they do get the chance, they RUN for it! The Phoenix Phase Initiative is there so they have a place to run to where they can be accepted, receive counseling, and learn job skills so they can break the cycle and create new lives for themselves and their children. Help us help them by RUNNING with them toward freedom, restoration, and a life free of pain and fear!

The in-person race will have LIVE MUSIC, a FREE beer from Murph and Mary’s (or craft soda), and a food truck. 

To be guaranteed a shirt and bag, PLEASE sign up by April 29, 2025. 

Please note: Runners/walkers who sign up after April 29, 2025 WILL receive a shirt, medal, and bag, but they will likely NOT be available the day before or the day of the race! They will be made after May 17 and distributed as soon as possible.

This will be an open course, but there will be police presence and volunteers directing traffic at the major intersections. Please follow all traffic laws!
