The facility features a beautiful lake, a covered shelter, and indoor restrooms.

Walk, Run, Roll, Stroll, Watch — any distance from .01 miles to endless.

In-Person registration includes a short-sleeved shirt, food, beverages, balloons, swag, and more.

Virtual participants receive a shirt mailed directly to them.

Schedule

12:30 to 12:55 PM: Shirt pickup and registration
1:00 PM: Opening remarks
1:10 PM: 5K run starts
1:15 PM: Any distance walk, run, roll, stroll, or watch

Medals for all kids, plus medals for first place in many age categories.

Iowans For Adoption has been run entirely by volunteers for 13 years, ensuring 99% of every dollar goes straight back into our communities. Your contribution directly helps us:

• Pay for youth in foster care to attend adoption events
• Fund statewide Safe Haven Act education so babies are placed safely into loving homes
• Help families navigate and finalize adoptions (foster care, international, domestic, and infant)
• Provide free educational sessions to families and professionals
• Advocate for adoption and Safe Haven laws in Iowa
