60th Annual Turkey Trot
Iowa’s Oldest Running Road Race
The Thanksgiving Day Turkey Trot is Iowa’s oldest road race and has become a
tradition for runners, walkers, and families on Thanksgiving Day. Proceeds are used to
help local families in need.
Come out and enjoy a Thanksgiving Day run, receive the 60th Annual T-Shirt, support
families in need, and still make your Thanksgiving Dinner.
Date: Thursday, November 28th Thanksgiving Day
Location: Camp Dodge, 7105 NW 70th Ave, Johnston, IA 50131
(Enter through 70th Ave South Gate).
Event will begin at the Pool Pavilion
Time: 9:30 A.M.
Age Groups: 9 & under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69,
70-79, 80+
Walkers: One division
Races: 5-mile Run
2-mile Run
2-mile Walk
Entry Fee: $ 25.00 (with long sleeve T-Shirt)
$ 10.00 (without long sleeve T-Shirt)
$ 15.00 (after November 21st and up to race day).
**T-Shirts can be purchased on race day—dependent on
availability.
Awards: Medals 1-15 in each age group (Top 3 will receive a Pumpkin Pie)
