If you’ll be taking to the treadmill more frequently this winter, here is a fun little tip of mine to help the time go by a little bit quicker…
During your run, do 10 minute intervals. Hop off the treadmill and do a 2 minute plank circuit or 2 minutes of plyometrics like squats and lunges. This will help engage muscles that may not be waking up on the treadmill, build your core, keep your HR elevated, but also give you a mental break! I find 10 minutes to be easier to keep track of than mileage, and I like to set different songs to listen to so I know which song I should be on at around the 10 minute mark each time.
