Race Results

Our 3rd annual Team RunFree ‘Miles of Smiles’  5K race is happening on Saturday, September 17th !   We are ready for another fun race thru the streets, parks and trails of Adel.  Our Team RunFree adaptive running teams will again be sharing the road and supplying ‘miles of smiles’ as they race the 3.1 mile course.

And just like last year, your registration fee is …. FREE !   We want to give this race to you as a gift – our hope is that you will pay it forward.  And … you will have the chance on race day to visit with 4 organizations that are making a very positive impact in this world.  Each will have a table set up and they will be ready to share what they do to make a big difference every day.

The 5K race will begin and end near the Community Stage and Pavilion at 10th and Main in Adel.  Medals will be awarded to the top 3 finishers in each age/gender group.  An awesome Team RunFree shirt is available for just $10.  It looks great and is very comfortable. Race entries will be capped at 225 this year.  This is an increase of 25 from last year, and we do anticipate hitting the cap – so register early !

In addition to a fun chip-timed 5K race, you will enjoy a hot breakfast and fresh brewed coffee from The Rooted Bean.   MANY thanks to Lincoln Savings Bank for sponsoring us and making this race a reality.  We wish you a great race, an enjoyable meal and the inspiration to ‘pay it forward’.
