The 11th Annual Story County Freedom Run is the second official event of the RUN Nevada Race Series 2024. This year’s run includes a 5k and 10k option, and will start and finish at the east end of SCORE Park in Nevada, near the swimming pool and high school baseball field.
Earlybird 5k registration costs $35 and 10k is $45 through June 7, then will increase to $40 and $45. All participants must register by June 21 at 5pm. NO RACE DAY REGISTRATION. Over the last decade, the Freedom Run has raised over $30,000 for local veterans.
Earlybird registrants receive a race t-shirt. All participants receive a finisher medal courtesy of ALMACO and pancake breakfast.
June 22, 2023 Schedule of Events:
7:30am: Packet pick-up begins at SCORE Park (1545 Fawcett Pkwy, Nevada, IA)
8:00am: 10k begins
8:30am: 5k begins
Immediately following the races: Medals presented to the top race finishers plus a pancake breakfast (location TBA)
