Registration is now open for the full and half CRANDIC Marathon. A few notes about this year’s race and our plans for the future:
- 2022 will be the final year that CRANDIC will be a point-to-point marathon.
- In 2023 and beyond, the races will run in alternating years in the greater Iowa City and Cedar Rapids metropolitan areas. Changing to this format will allow better access to public safety services and volunteers. Plus, we can better highlight each municipality individually.
- Our hope is to make the race a Boston qualifier in the future!
- The relay will be brought back in 2023 and beyond.
- There will no longer be a 5k/10k the day before the race.
