Freedom isn’t free – and neither is the KPD Freedom 5K! We’re not just talking about the registration cost either. Begin your Independence Day with this fun and challeging run/walk 5K. This year features a new route utilizing our new and beautiful Competine Trail as an out and back. The only thing the same is the START/FINISH, a run/walk around the historic Marion County Courthouse, and the 5th Street hill… Celebrate your accomplishments after the event with breakfast at the Fire Department or Yoga On the Lawn with Cathy Struecker. Afterwards, get yourself cleaned up and enjoy the other events around town before settling in at dusk to watch the fireworks.

Cost to participate in this event is $30.00 for 18+ and $20.00 for 17 and under. Swag for this years event is a custom KPD Freedom 5K t-shirt (guaranteed to registrants on or before 05/16/2022).

Proceeds from this event will go towards a scholorship(s) to a Knoxville High School student who is interested in career in law enforcement.
