We are excited for all the improvements being made to downtown Waterloo! Due to the road and bridge construction scheduled for 2022 and 2023, the ShamRock N Run is offering two different fun run options in place of the well-known 5K! You can do one or both!

Option 1–for those who want a little exercise! Sign up for the FunRun and complete the “ShamRock N Run Loop”–a one mile course looping around beautiful downtown Waterloo!

Option 2–for those who want a beverage! Sign up for the FunRun and select the Add-On “ShamRock N Run .05K”–a one block course that must be completed with beverage of choice in hand! You must be 21 or older to consume alcoholic beverages.

Option 3–for those who want to burn off liquid calories you can do both!

Packet pickup and registration will be 4-7pm on Friday August 5th during the Iowa Irish Fest and from 8am-10am Saturday August 6th. The race begins at 10am. Neither race is chip timed and you have 1 hour to complete. Included in your registration is an awesome T-shirt, race bib, race goodie bag, free beer, snacks, and water at the end of the race. Entrance into the Iowa Irish Fest is NOT included with your race registration, but tickets can be purchased at a discount by choosing the Add-On for a 3 day weekend pass into the festival on our registration website. Get ready to have some fun and see you at the starting line!
