July 2nd, 8:00 am at 1100 College Ave, Iowa Falls. Registration & start will be in the parki ng lot North of the Math/Science building also directly East of the new Duane & Phyllis Lloyd Residence Hall. Register online to receive your results by text immediately after the race!

Come to enjoy Independence Day Weekend in Iowa Falls!  The Firecracker 5K and Kids 1K kicks off a full day of activities on July 2rd.  The 5K course has beautiful views of the Iowa River along paved, tree-lined roads and will bring you through our long-term care facilities, allowing our shut ins to enjoy the race and cheer you on.  Due to road construction, the race will have a new route, but will include hills and beautiful scenes of the Scenic City.  We will have medals for the first 100 racers along with a drawstring sport pack filled with goodies.

Children under 10 yrs. old can run/walk at no charge. Race day registrations will not be guaranteed a medal or bag.  This is a chip timed race!

Same day registrations will start at 7am and will end at 755am!  Race begins at 8am!

Registering online allows you to have your results texted to you immediately after the race!
