Join us for the 2nd annual Bone Dash 5K and Monster Mile event to help raise awareness and support for pediatric patients battling rheumatic diseases. All proceeds go directly to the Joining Hands Pediatric Rheumatology Support Group at the University of Iowa Stead Family Children’s Hospital. The event will take place at the Lake McBride Timber Dome Lodge in Solon, Iowa on October 14th, 2023.
Packets must be picked up in person. Friends and family are able to pick up packets for runners unable to be present. We will not be able to mail packets.

Packet Pick Up 2: Saturday October 14th 7:30 AM – 9 AM

Timber Dome Lodge at the Solon Recreation and Nature Area
Lake Macbride Trail, Solon, IA 52333
The 5K and 1 Mile routes will start together (runners in the front) at the Timber Dome Lodge. All participants will loop around the scenic 1 mile route at the Solon Recreation and Nature Area before 5K participants will break off onto to the Lake McBride trail until the marked turn around point. All participants will finish at the starting point. The entire trail is paved.
All participants are encouraged to dress in costume for this fun Halloween themed event!
Short sleeve T-shirts are included with registration until two weeks prior to the event (September 29th, 2023).
T-shirts this year will be short-sleeve District brand tri-blend shirts–super comfortable and soft!
Donated prizes will be given for top finishers and by random drawing the day of the event! Participants must be present to pick up their prize.
