General Information

Full Loop – 11 miles
Half Loop – 5.5 miles

Run Decorah’s Trout Run Trail, an 11-mile loop of changing scenery, sprinkled with flats, hills, bridges and a gorgeous trek by the Upper Iowa River.

8:00 a.m. start @ 0-mile marker, the start of Dug Road, the circle parking lot at the end of Main Street.

Proceeds go to Northeast Iowa Montessori, Trout Run Trail and Decorah Rotary in 2022.
Plan your drop off and pick up. Parking near the entrance is limited, city street parking available. Half Loop runners may expect to walk 1/2 mi. back on the course to the Decorah Fish Hatchery for pick up; runners are responsible for their own transportation.

The Trout Run Trail will remain open/live to other runners and bikers. Be on the lookout for bikers, runners and dog walkers.
