Race Results

This fundraising event for SLC6A1 provides a walking or running option for all ability levels. There is a 3K and 5K run/walk option along with a short kids fun run.

Location: 

North Park, Story City, IA – the 3K/5K will begin and end at North Park

Fun Run Start Time:

1:30PM (0–5 year-old race and a 6-10 year-old race)

Race Introduction and a Message from Will & his Family: 

1:45PM

3K/5K Start Time: 

2:00PM

Race Check-In: 

12:30PM – 1:45PM at the north side shelter

Entry Fee:

$25 per person and includes an event t-shirt.

Virtual Race Option is available, and the entry fee is $30 

3K/5K: 

The official route will be posted on the event Facebook group closer to the start of the event.

Prizes for 5K age group winners (1st Place Male/1st Place Female) 

will be awarded to the following age groups:  

17 and Under  – 5K

18-29 – 5K

30-39 – 5K

40-49 – 5K

50+ – 5K

Virtual 3K & 5K: 

Virtual racers should plan to walk or run your own route during race week, April 25th – May 1st!

Run/Walk:

FREE for kids 12 and under. Participation in the Kid’s Fun Run does not include a race t-shirt, but additional shirts may be purchased through online registration. Spectators are welcome and encouraged to come and cheer on the runners!

Other Activities:

ISU Groove Drumline will be performing as you cross the finish line!
