Race Results

The Ankeny School Foundation hosts the Annual Hawk Jag 5K every year to raise funds in support of the teachers and students of the Ankeny School District.  This race is one of a kind!  It starts at the north end of town at Ankeny Centennial High School and ends on the south end of town at Ankeny High School.  The Hawk Jag 5K is a great way to see the town of Ankeny, including some of the trail system through town.  We welcome competitive and non-competitive runners to come help support Ankeny Schools!  You will receive a free t-shirt if registered before September 2nd!  Please note, on September 1st the registration price goes from $30 to $35.  Get your registration in early to save $5!  There is also a kids run on the AHS track, so all ages are welcome!  After the race, Uptown Garage Brewing will be hosting our after party.  Please make time to stop by for awards, giveaways, food trucks, brews, and fun at Uptown Garage Brewing!

Additionally, NEW THIS YEAR we will be having a Corporate/Team Challenge.  If you own or are an employee of a small, medium, or large business you are encouraged to participate!  This is a perfect opportunity to promote wellness, comradery, and healthy competition in your workplace for employees and customers.  Businesses that choose to participate will build a team of as many people possible.  Awards will then be given to the team that recruits the largest number of runners/walkers, the team the fundraises the most amount of money, and finally the team that has the fastest 4 race times.  For example, if you have 15 people on your team, whomever on your team has the fastest 4 times will be added together and that will be your “score” for that category.  The lowest cumulative time wins that category.  We want to see our Ankeny businesses out supporting our Ankeny School District!  Please create your team at time of registration if you do not see it as a drop down option or contact ankenyschoolfoundation@yahoo.com to get your team set up in our system.

As in previous years, we have bus shuttles from the finish line to the start line prior to the race.  The shuttles will leave AHS at 8:30 am to drop you off at the start line at ACHS.  During your registration you will be asked to designate if you are going to use these services.
