International Duathlon, a 155 mile bike and 32 mile run event held her in
Cedar Rapids, IA. # The bike course will be a loop of between 30 and 35 miles and
will be long enough to bring the distance to at least 155 miles. This means if the
loop is 33 miles long we’ll ride it five times for a total mileage of 165 miles –
the 10 extra miles won’t kill you, simply make you stronger. I will attempt to set
up a course with all right turns and there will be convenience stores along the route.#
Same for the run except with left turns. I will map out a 5 to 6 mile loop to make
sure we have at least 50 kilometers of running for fun and pleasure.# The course
will be marked and a basic cue sheet will be provided.# Company along the ride and
run is OK. Just don’t bring your draft team along and like kindergarten it’s polite
to share. * The event will be entirely self-supported and is free. |
